2020 Nissan Rogue Vs 2019 Honda CR-V

January 21st, 2020 by

The 2020 Nissan Rogue is a fan favorite for many Nissan owners, and it’s easy to see why. The sturdy crossover fits many owners’ needs for more cargo space, while not being overly large. The CR-V likewise is a favorite among Honda owners for many of the same reasons.

So what makes the Nissan Rogue stand out?

Seating & Cargo Space

The 2020 Nissan Rogue has more space, both for passengers as well as cargo. The EZ Flex Seating System enables the 2nd row seats to recline, fold flat, and slide forward as well as side to side. This provides up to 9 inches of personal space between the two seats! In the Honda CR-V, the seats can only recline.

Safety Features

One of the biggest updates is the now-standard Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection for all Rogue trim levels. This warns the driver if there is a risk of a forward collision and can even engage the brakes for the driver if necessary. CR-V’s emergency braking system is not standard, and does not include pedestrian detection.

Technology

Another key difference between the Rogue & the CR-V includes standard features such as:

Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
Satellite Radio
Safety Features, such as Lane Departure Warning & Blind Spot Warning
Again, these are all optional on the CR-V, so come with a different price tag than the standard model.
