10 Things We Love About The All-New 2021 Nissan Rogue
The all-new 2021 Nissan Rogue has officially hit the ground at our Gallatin dealership, and the excitement is palpable. The last few years have held several new Nissan vehicles and redesigns, from the affordable Versa to the sleek new Altima, but this one holds a special place as one of the most popular mid-size SUVs in the Nashville area, the Nissan Rogue, gets its own makeover this year. Here are 10 things we LOVE about the all-new 2021 Rogue.
1. New Exterior
The most noticeable difference for the all-new Rogue is the exterior. Gone are the rounded, typical CUV lines, and introduced is the more modern stance of a rugged SUV with square lines. It may take a bit of getting used to, but the future is here, and the Rogue has joined the future of SUV-looks with this Rogue’s new exterior. Take a look at the rear and find the bold and wider lettering for “Rogue” that will really catch your eye!
2. Available Panoramic Moonroof
The most fun available option for the premium package on the Rogue is the panoramic moonroof, stretching across the roof for amazing views and a fun addition to the model for sure.
3. Safety Package Standard
The 2021 Rogue has the most safety technologies on board in its class, and is the latest in the Nissan lineup to feature its Safety Shield Technology standard on all trims. This includes Automatic Emergency Braking (with Pedestrian Detection), Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, and Rear Automatic Braking.
4. All The Technology
In addition to these safety features, more technology binds the drivers and passengers together. This includes Rear Door Alert, as a standard feature, and available Traffic Sign Recognition and Blind Spot Recognition. The Nissan Intelligent Key has been expanded to include all four doors, for ease of access by pressing a button on the rear doors (with the keys nearby) to unlock it.
5. Driver Assist Features
The Nissan Rogue was one of the first in the Nissan lineup to feature Nissan’s ProPilot Assist driver technology, combining steering assist and Intelligent Cruise Control, to make driving easier. This year, ProPilot Assist has been enhanced with radar & camera technology and comes equipped with NaviLink on both Rogue SL and Rogue Platinum trim levels. NaviLink ensures the correct speed to be maintained on drives that wind through different areas.
6. Modern Shifter
The all-new gear shifter on the Rogue creates more space in the center console by lessening the space for the mechanics of a typical gear shift. This is fully electronic, and sits in front of the also-all electronic parking brake. This makes it easier to access cup holders, USB/Lightning cable ports, and storage in the butterfly center console.
7. Backup Camera + Around View Monitor
Available on all Nissan models these days (and standard on most of them) is the backup camera, which doesn’t just provide a picture but green, yellow, and orange lines to help you judge distances. The Around View Monitor adds additional cameras to create a composite 360-degree image of your vehicle from a bird’s eye perspective. This can help you see how close you are to objects around you, making parallel parking a breeze!
8. Wireless Apple CarPlay
Ok, this may seem like old news, but it is still worth noting that this kind of connectivity is standard on the new Rogue. New feature for this though is that now your Apple CarPlay can happen without cords. That’s right, wireless Apple CarPlay is an available option coming soon to a Rogue near you!
9. Cargo Space
The Rogue may not have a 3rd row like other similar vehicles, but it’s room for 5 still offers comfort and connectivity for all passengers. Cargo space is made easier with flat-folding rear bench seats, Divide-N-Hide configurations, rear doors that open to 90-degrees, and an available motion activated rear liftgate.
10. Available Head-Up Display
New to the Rogue display game, which already includes an 8- or 9-inch touchscreen and digital gauge information, is the head-up display that is designed to help reduce the driver’s stress, keeping important information right in their sightline, so their eyes can stay on the road and stay updated. At 10.8-inches, it is the largest head-up display in the segment.
