We love Trunk or Treat!
Trunk or Treat is easily our favorite day of the year, because we here at Newton Nissan love getting to see our community. It’s also an important day for us, because it is a day that we promote the community we are in. This year, the Gallatin High School Band helped us decorate 40 trunks that we filled with enough candy for all the afternoon’s visitors! In return, we donated funds that will help them continue to develop their program!
Battling the freezing temperatures, the band’s trunks showed up early and began decorating their cars, trucks, and SUVs into spooky entrances, fun characters, and pop culture references, such as Jurassic Park and Star Trek. We brought in fun bouncy houses and euro bungees for the kids to enjoy for a few hours! The cold weather would not keep us from having fun with our community.
So, why do we do this?
Because we here at Newton Nissan believe that our community is more valuable than our bottom line. And to show this, we simply want to be a part of our customer’s lives. Trunk or Treat is one of those days when that becomes a reality, a day that allows us to host a fun event, get to know our community, and to give back. Ultimately, we hope that this community relationship extends from fun events into the daily interactions we have with every person that walks through our doors!
Thank you for being a part of our community!
We hope to see you next year at Trunk or Treat 2018!
Here at Newton Nissan, we think our customers are worth more than our cars. That’s why we want to highlight some of those who join the Newton Nissan Family! Check out these smiling faces!

Fall…the season of sweaters, pumpkin flavored everything, and football. And, this October, Fun Nashville Events abound!
Just a few weeks ago, the first day of fall was upon us. The weather seems to be cooperating now that October has begun. It has been a beautiful first couple of weeks of the season, don’t you think? School is swinging into a rhythm, with fall break happening for many students in the area, but there is still so much to do this month! From your friends at Newton Nissan, put on a light sweater, get out, and have fun!
Where: Gallatin’s Historic Downtown Square, Gallatin
When: Saturday, October 7; 10 AM to 5 PM

This is Gallatin’s 35th annual Main Street Festival, always held on the first Saturday in October. It features vendors, selling many different items from handmade soaps to baked goods, whose proceeds will go to local non-profits. Food will also be sold from many different area offerings. There will also be a children’s play area with inflatables during this day-long event. Click the link above for more information.
Where: Nashville Cumberland Park, 592 S. First St.
When: Sunday, October 15; 5:30-8 PM
Details: Free Admission
The 6th annual Jazz on the Cumberland concert series is coming to an end for 2017 in just a few weeks! Don’t miss out on hearing some of the best jazz artists from across TN and the U.S. This is a family-friendly event with a kid’s play area and no alcohol allowed on the premises. There will also be food trucks, a visual artist’s work on display, and a youth performance. Bring your own blanket or lawn chair, and enjoy.
And of course, the most fun of all fun Nashville events (in our opinion) is also this month–Newton Nissan’s Trunk or Treat on October 22nd (Shelbyville) AND October 29th (Gallatin) from 3-5 PM! Click for more information!
