Nissan is known for supplying a lineup of vehicles that consists of over twenty automobiles, all of which provide customers with an experience unlike any other. Originally incorporated in Japan in the early 1930s, Nissan would go on to become one of the most profound and appreciated automotive brands to have ever existed. Nowadays, Nissan is on a never-ending journey to fulfill a commitment to never settling for the second-best. Compared to other manufacturers, Nissan consists of some of the most talented engineers that are always forward-thinking, especially towards a greener future.

The Nissan Titan

Not to be confused with the Tennessee Titans, the Nissan Titan is a beloved pickup truck that has been in production since the early 2000s. Both fashionable and compelling, the Titan is a full-size truck that not only provides the potential but revels in it. Unlike a large number of pickup trucks that have gone through numerous generational shifts, the Titan has only gone through two generations of models. This doesn’t mean that the Titan hasn’t received a fair share of upgrades over the years, and the popularity that it’s garnered has never simmered. Today, the Titan is a prominent part of Nissan’s lineup and sits between the Frontier and the more powerful Titan XD.

Some of the most noteworthy and recognizable aspects of Nissan’s manufacturing process are related to technology, reliability, and power. Nissan also deserves praise for the exceptionally generous warranties that come with new Titan models. The Titan offers an ample amount of towing performance against its rivals that share a similar price point. A lot of care and attention goes into the Titan, and over the years, the envelope has been pushed further until it became one of the most feature-rich automobiles within its price range.

The 2022 Nissan Titan

Simply put, the 2022 Titan is equally as phenomenal as its predecessor, although no new fundamental changes have occurred. The changes that have occurred between last year’s and this year’s Titan are mostly relegated to a variety of features being shifted around the different trim levels. The result is a more feature-packed base model, and the more luxurious options seen on later trims are made cheaper by association. For example, the Convenience Package for the SV trim didn’t come standard last year, but that’s been changed this time around.

The engine inside of the 2022 Titan is the same as last year, which was a 5.6L V8 engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Performance from the previous Titan model was superb and was perhaps one of the areas with the least need of improvement. Driving a Titan with this engine will net you about 400 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque, and this all results in a maximum towing capacity of 9,310 lbs. Also, like the year before, the new Titan can be configured with either a King Cab or a Crew Cab, the latter of which will give the rear-row more legroom.

Warranties and More

Every new Nissan purchased comes with a slew of warranties attached to them. The first warranty is a limited powertrain warranty that is active for 5-years/60,000-miles. The second warranty is a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty that covers repairs related to factory installed parts or defects in the vehicle.

If you are interested in a Certified Pre-Owned Titan, the model comes with a 7-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty. The models themselves face a 167 point inspection before they can be considered a CPO mode, and they come with complimentary roadside assistance. At Newton Nissan of Gallatin, whether you buy your Titan new or CPO, you can rest assured your purchase is covered.

Warranties are crucial when purchasing a pickup truck, and you can rest assured that by purchasing a Nissan vehicle, especially a new or CPO model, then you’ll have plenty of coverage. A renowned manufacturer such as Nissan understands that your truck is the single most important tool in your life, and protecting your investment is exactly what you’ll do when you purchase a new Titan.
