The transmission is an Xtronic continuously variable transmission. These transmissions provide a consistent and efficient dispersal of power from the engine to the wheels. It functions in a different way from either manual or automatic transmissions of the past.
Using a special design, the CVT transmission allows an infinite variety of gear ratios. Traditional transmissions were limited to anywhere from 4 to 10 speeds, but a CVT has no such limits. The Blind Spot Warning system alerts the driver if another vehicle is in a blind spot zone when the driver wants to change lanes. High Beam Assist automatically dims the high beams at night to ensure other oncoming vehicles are not blinded while driving. The 2023 Nissan Sentra has three main trims: the S, SV, and SR. The S is the most affordable model, while the SV is a good balance of affordability and features, and the SR is the top-of-the-line version of the Sentra. All three versions come with the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and Xtronic CVT transmission. The sleek body design remains the same across all trims, though the higher trims have more available colors and different wheels as well.

The Sentra SV provides some improvements over the S. Though it uses the same powertrain, it brings some of its own flair, which includes 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels, making the exterior look even better. The interior features the 7-inch Drive-Assist Display and the 8-inch multimedia touchscreen, taking the interior to the next level. With several more USB ports, everyone can keep their devices charged.
The SV also has two available upgrade packages for added customization: the All-Weather and Premium Packages. The All-Weather Package includes a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, heated front seats, a Remote Engine Start System, and Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control. The Premium Package includes everything in the All-Weather package but also gives you bigger 17-inch wheels, a moonroof, power adjustable driver's seat, quilted leather-appointed seats, a leather-wrapped shift knob, and a rear center armrest.
